Episode 9 - A conversation with Artist, Writer, Producer and CMAO Director - Brian Allen
Manage episode 323575333 series 3317365
Todays episode features the brilliant Brian Allen. Brian was referred as someone that I should be talking to by one of the first guests on the podcast, Jason Barry. Jason certainly was not wrong about this one. I thoroughly enjoyed our chat in this podcast. Some of the highlights from the conversation were discussing his band house when he moved from home at the age of 17 and how he cut his teeth with that band doing covers and eventually originals in bars 6 nights per week.
We chat about how he pivoted from one band that dissolved and put together another band that would eventually become known as Toronto who enjoyed platinum level success with multiple albums.
Brian lets us in on the story of his co-write of a top 10 worldwide hit that any music fan would instantly recognize and how what that was like.
We chat about saying yes to opportunities that present themselves and much, much more. It was a great chat, and as you will hear, Brian is a truly genuine person with a great sense of humour, and I was thrilled to have him on the show.
