Section 2: Morgan shares their personal experiences with harm reduction while enjoying a spiked seltzer. They discuss moving from complete abstinence from alcohol to intentionally using it sometimes to cope, self-medicate and/or have fun.
They discuss how harm reduction is extremely personal. What works for me may not work for you. Blaming substances for problems in their relationships didn’t do anything to improve those relationships or their quality of life. The problem isn’t substances, it’s our traumatizing society.
Morgan shares several misconceptions they held about alcohol and how they feel about them now, including: it’s not us , it’s alcohol.
