Book of Audio is a podcast created by current and former members of the LDS church. In this first season, we'll read and discuss book Wife No. 19, written by Ann Eliza Young, former wife of LDS Church president Brigham Young. Wife No. 19 gives a unique history of the LDS church and one of its most recognizable leaders. Because the book was originally published in 1876, it may seem distant or unapproachable to a modern audience. Book of Audio hopes to bridge that gap using modern editing and production techniques — breathing new life into this important story. More than just an audio book, each season will cover a relevant LDS document with the text read aloud, and modern commentary, original music and conversation starters interspersed throughout. By reimagining how audio books can be presented, Book of Audio aims to shine an entertaining light on historical documents associated with the LDS church. This enhanced conversation about the early history of the church, will be an enlightening experience for all listeners.
