Is Mothman a Cryptid? How about Bigfoot? You may be shocked to hear that cryptozoology is an actual field of study but some of the phenomena and "stories" that are now being attributed to that field may actually not be true cryptids at all and may actually be damaging the legitimacy of the field itself.
We look at the differences between cryptids and other phenomena as well as how pop culture has influenced the understanding of this subject in recent times.
