WINDI WASHINGTON had a conversation with SKYLER HEYMAN, the visionary behind A Plant Based Production. Starting as a podcast in 2020, just before the pandemic hit, the brand expanded to include a cooking show featuring Chef John Swafford. The journey evolved into a focus on product development, inspired by Skyler's mom Simone's delicious plant-based recipes from Savannah, GA.


In February 2022, they ventured into manufacturing plant-based sauces, officially launching in January 2023. The labeled jars are now available in various San Diego stores, top farmers markets, and pop-ups. The brand also recently launched its website, offering online ordering to promote the plant-based lifestyle.
