Rudger van Wyk was a Cape Winemakers Guild protege and at the time he worked with Abrie Beeslaar at Kanonkop. He is now at Stark-Conde and was appointed Diner's Club Young Winemaker of the year, 2018. He and Jose Conde are creating award winning wines just outside Stellenbosch, in Jonkershoek Valley.
