Although the Wings have struggled of late, it seems as if they were able to string together some wins - and against good teams! Kubalik is looking like the best off-season acquisition with 14 points in 11 games (tied for the team lead with Dylan Larkin). Nedeljkovic has not looked good so far this season, but the blame cannot fall entirely on him. The team has yet to play a sound defensive game in front of Ned this season, letting up roughly 40+ shots on average while he’s in net.
The Wings have 4 games this week: two against the Rangers, one against Montreal, and one against the LA Kings. Let’s see if the Wings can help Ned out this week and fix those atrocious GAA numbers!
