Hello, I am Shanmitha from class X-D. This is my Social Science Art Integration activity for Social Science. Since Tamilnadu is paired with Jammu and Kashmir, I decided to talk about the Kashmir Conflict and difficulties faced by the people there. We all know only about the Surgical Strike and the Article 370 regarding Kashmir Conflict, other than that we know Jammu and Kashmir only as a beautiful state with great valleys and gardens. But it has more to it. The most important conflict is the Kargil War, which took place in the Kargil district of Kashmir. Many casualties of both civilians and soldiers took place. But it still holds an important part in the history of Jammu and Kashmir. Everyone knows how the soldiers lost their lives but many don't know how the people got affected.
