Topics: Becoming a minister, healing childhood abuse, birth, death, and getting right with “God” & “Jesus” as a queer witchy woman.

About the show: Your host Amy Lynn was honored to meet Reverend Riley Sophia over this past summer during her ministry residency in Colorado. Bonding over a shared love of Redwoods, she agreed to come on the cast and share an intimate little slice of her wisdom from a life lived in service and ministry. Reverend Riley does interfaith full “Circle of Life” care – a death doula, hospice chaplain, wedding minister, and a trained birth doula.

This episode goes DEEP, Dreamweaver. We learn about Reverend Riley’s recovery from childhood abuse, and ongoing journey. How did Rev. Riley get to the bottom of her pain and disconnection with God? How did she respond to the call to chaplaincy work? These, and other life-long questions addressed by a woman reclaiming her worthiness and desire to spiritually heal the living.
