Hi all! Welcome back to our podcast! We took a week off to deal with some personal things in our lives and reconfigure our podcast schedule to match up better with our work and life schedules, listen to the episode for more details! That being said, lets get into it!
This week Elaine takes us into the life and story of Alice Coachman, one of the first Black women to compete in the Olympics and the ONLY American woman to win a gold medal at the 1948 Olympics. She was truly and incredible athlete and woman and an amazing piece of Black American history. We hope you enjoy learning about her and hearing her story!
