In the past few weeks, we witnessed a resurgence of the discussion around what is going on in Palestine. This happens every couple of years, but what seemed different this time is that on social media, the general public seemed to side in favor of Palestinians and acknowledged their struggle for the first time ever. In this episode, we had the pleasure to have Samah, an Afro Palestinian woman who took the time to break down what exactly is going on in Palestine. She also shed light on her reality as an Afro Palestinian and the tight connection that exists between Palestinians and the Black lives matter movement. We read, analyze and vulgarize concepts of race and women issues. Our goal with this project is to let our voices, as well as the voices of other members of marginalized groups be heard. We want black people to relate and to feel understood. We often tackle subjects with a comedic tone, to make learning, deconstructing and educating as fun but also as effective as possible.
