This week on Womanity – Women in Unity, Dr. Amaleya Goneos-Malka talks to Professor Jeannette Parkes, who heads up the Department of Radiation Medicine at the University of Cape Town and Groote Schuur Hospital. She highlights some of the dynamics of the multidisciplinary network that is applied to oncology treatments and some of the projects that the institutions are involved with to deliver cutting edge solutions. We consider some interventions to promote staff retention in the state sector which serves more than 85% of the population.
