We highlight, for example, interventions that have been implemented to allow for the re-integration of teen mothers into the school system, changing the narrative from a moralistic discussion to one of human rights and economic costs to the country. Minister Johnson-Smith remarks on positive outcomes of Jamaica’s national gender policy which led to Jamaica, per capita, having the highest number of female managers in the world.
