In this episode Jazzie Belle sits down w/ Music & Entertainment Journalist for Vibe.com, Tatyana Jenene to discuss the current state of Women in Hip Hop. Fresh off the high of London's Wireless Festival, we talked about the performances from Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and The City Girls plus more! We also discussed the controversy around Nicki's alleged "pregnancy" and her alleged beef w/ Kanye West, Cardi B's disdain for the blogs and how she said it's affecting her mental health. New music was at the height of this conversation: "Hot Shit" by Cardi B and "Good Love" by The City Girls feat. Usher both debuted over the weekend. And of course we had to give our thoughts on Rolling Stones Top 200 Hip Hop Albums of all time (Umm Excuse me, but Where is Foxy Brown?)
Make sure to stay tuned in because these two hip hop heads say what they mean and mean what they say! You don't wanna miss it!
