About Marshall Sykes

Marshall is a retired Navy Captain and a real estate investor who grew up in a family involved in real estate development and investing. He has 30 years of construction project and asset management experience, including a career in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps and at ExxonMobil. While stationed at Camp Pendleton, he led a team in planning and designing new multifamily facilities, upgrading existing properties, and managing over 10,000 units.

In recent years, Marshall and his wife, Cindy, have shifted their real estate investment focus toward multifamily properties. They own over 3000 apartment units, having previously owned single-family rental properties for over two decades. Marshall is enthusiastic about sharing the potential of investing in large multifamily properties through syndications, something he only recently discovered after being interested in it for over 15 years.
