Looking back on this in 2024, I shake my head in amazement.
This recording was originally uploaded in 2019, two years into me recording new music and pairing it with videos I shot on my iPhone.
I was new to mobile videography and still learning how to build community on YouTube.
I was also in the thick of my Alice in Wonderland project, an 11-video series where I sung the first 4 or 5 pages of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.
"She had a bottle labeled "Drink me" and a cake that said "Eat me" and I thought, oh wow! This is a metaphor for our phones and digital devices and all the hyper-connectivity that these things bring to us."
