10 years ago, we thought car sharing was hip, then came Uber, then self-driving cars, and now we see ventures that propose flying cars as the solution for our mobility problems. Public transportation and new mobility concepts have emerged as one of the hottest industries in tech. At the same time, however, we get reminded that transporting passengers comes with enormous responsibility. Over 30,000 Americans lost their lives in traffic accidents last year. And, most recently, we saw the first traffic fatality caused by a self-driving car. So, public transport is our topic for today.
