Unconscious bias exists all over the world, whether it's in the workplace or just out in the streets. A woman is going to be 10 times more criticized when it comes to a work evaluation than a man. People have stereotyped this race to do that, this color of skin to do that. It's infuriating and the legal system isn't adequate enough to solve all these biases. In this episode, Debra sits down with Jessica Nordell to talk all about bias. Jessica is a science writer with degrees in physics and poetry. She is also the author of The End of Bias: A Beginning.
