We sit down with Laura Warman- a former medical laboratory technician to discuss the Canadian and Albertan government's responses to the Covid pandemic as well as her career as a medical professional in Alberta, including being a frontline worker during the HIV/Aids crisis
Later on we sit down with Hania Pepper of Forest March BC to discuss the ongoing issues across BC regarding the clearcutting of forests across the province as well as the old growth logging that is occurring, and the way this is affecting logging workers and various communities across the province. We also talk about the WLC tree planting campaign and watershed cleanup that we are doing in accordance with the Peachland Watershed Protection Alliance (also an affiliate of Forest March BC) this coming May. If you would like to get involved in any of these initiatives please reach out to the Worker's Liberation Coalition or check out any of the following links from Forest March:
*Also a quick edit on the Fairy Creek injunction, that was actually extended to the 26th, not the 19th as was said in the episode*
