Tiziana DellaRovere has a lot to share about fusing art, spirituality, and social entrepreneurship. She shares her inspiration as well as practical advice from her successful fund-raising efforts. About Tiziana DellaRovere: Author, artist, mystical poet, and teacher Tiziana DellaRovere is the writer of an original two-hour opera called The Canticle of the Black Madonna. Tiziana’s libretto (written text of the opera) draws on classical elements such as the Greek Chorus, Jungian archetypes, and current events such as the effects of war, PTSD, and the destruction of the environment. In addition to her work as a creative artist, Tiziana has dedicated more than three decades to creating, developing, and practicing a psycho-spiritual methodology called the “Descent” for healing the wounding of the deep psyche. Through the countless workshops, courses, private sessions, and organizations she has founded, Tiziana has facilitated the healing of thousands of people. Tiziana is originally from Milan Italy, and she has a broad background in Law, Art, Psychology, and Spirituality. Personal Mantra: Love conquers all. One of her greatest challenges: Tiziana’s research into PTSD became extremely personal as she realized how it had affected her father, a veteran of two wars. When she knows the work he is doing is making a difference: After the first workshop for the opera, she was approached by veterans who expressed feeling seen and understood for the first time, as though they themselves were on the stage. Practical Advice: Tiziana offers insights into her successful funding strategies using both conventional and novel approaches. Personal Practice That Keeps him Going on the Tough Days Tiziana reflects on what made her fund raising strategies so successful. Recommended books or films: The Return of the Mother by Andrew Harvey The Hidden Spirituality of Men by Matthew Fox The Red Book by Carl Jung Tools or Technology: Indiegogo Nomination for Upcoming World Changer Sessions Guest: Jodine Turner, teacher and author How to get in touch: Website: www.cbmopera.com Tiziana welcomed inquiries and connections through the contact page on her website. The Canticle of the Black Madonna will premiere at the Newmark Theatre in Portland, Oregon on September 5 & 6, 2014.
