The first humans rejected God's love and His truth. By believing the lies of the Serpent/Satan, they brought evil and death into the world.
Those 21st century Christians who believe the lies of Satan that they can love both the world and God are like the first humans in Eden.
They must repent and believe only in God and His word if they don't want to end up in the lake of fire.
