In week 5 of our series, Sermon on the Mount, we heard from Pastor Dustin about loving our enemies. Ultimately, we must love our enemies because God has given us the task of reconciling people to Christ. When we are wronged, Jesus tells us not to retaliate because then we are able to reveal the heart of God to people around us. Our mindset can easily drift toward making it all about ourselves, but in reality God offers salvation for all people - our enemies included. If we are truly followers of Jesus, we will truly want our enemies in the Kingdom of God.

Here are the Bible passages we studied this week: Matthew 5: 7-10, Matthew 5: 38-42, Matthew 5: 43-45, 2 Corinthians 5: 14-15 and 16-20, Acts 7: 52-60.
