Steve Hartman is both an ordained minister and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He spent 22 years in local church ministry serving churches in Texas and Florida. He followed Godā€™s leading him into private practice counseling and has been working in counseling since 1997. He is the owner of the Bear Creek Counseling Center in Houston, Texas. Although he works with individuals and couples who deal with various life issues such as marital difficulty, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders, his primary population are those individuals who have survived childhood sexual trauma and abuse of various forms.
