Summary:

In Episode 6, Molly and I sit down with Sarah for part 2 of our inspiring conversation. Sarah reflects on her journey emphasizing the importance of following one's passion and being open to new opportunities. She shares the verse Ephesians 2:10 relieved her pressure to choose a specific path and allowed her journey to unfold naturally. Sarah encourages listeners to walk with the Lord, pursue their dreams, and not limit themselves, even if their journey takes unexpected turns. The discussion also touches on the song "King of My Heart. " We know Sarah will inspire a deeper union with Christ through this vulnerable interview.

SHOW NOTES

on her children-

“For my kids, I want for them to walk with the Lord, work hard, follow their dreams, and see what happens.”

most holy moment-

“When my parents got divorced it felt like someone had died. It was the hardest thing I had ever gone through at the time. It shook my identity. I had just had my first baby. I wondered what was even true anymore. I was processing with the Lord and the chorus to King of My Heart was my response.”

on suffering-

“I have lived with chronic pain for more than 10 years. I want to share because I know a lot of people are struggling with this. It keeps you needy and soft, and compassionate. It keeps me softer to the Lord and needy for Him. It’s hard because daily it works on my mind and messes with my personality. But there is no guarantee for a life without struggle. My favorite aspect of Jesus is that He walks with us in it. It doesn’t make our lives perfect. But he is in it. I feel that.”

a thought to end with-

God is with us in the painful journeys- not watching from the sidelines. It is part of the holiness in our lives. It can be a gift.

some bits from the speed round-

fave book-

The Nightingale- Kristin Hannah

coffee order-

half caramel cappuccino

fave scripture-

Eph 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
