Childhood obesity is a national epidemic. Now, more and more teenagers are turning to weight loss surgery to get a handle on their problem. For many patients, the surgery is not only helping them to shed pounds, but it's changing their lives for the better. One local teen is sharing his story of surgery success. He tells Michael Bartley how the operation, hard work, and music helped him to lose 140 pounds and why that is just the beginning of his journey.

Sharon Massey is a local metalsmith who is getting a lot of attention around town. She is making jewelry inspired by the local dialect known as 'Pittsburghese' and turning words like 'yinz,' 'slippy,' 'n'at,' and even names of Pittsburgh neighborhoods into wearable art.

Meet two Carnegie Mellon University alumni who share a love for Bossa Nova music and robotic toys and decided to create a business together. Not only are they experts in robotics but they are truly business savvy as their company, Bossa Nova Robotics has gained national and international recognition. Check out how this Pittsburgh based company has turned their serious knowledge of science into some serious fun.
