In the next in our series of interviews with IWE, I sit down with current IWE National Champion, DAMIEN (aka Brett Meadows). We talk about breaking into the business with WAW and training with the Knight family, over in Norwich.

Brett discusses his thoughts on the wrestling scene now versus the early 2000’s; wrestling in the holiday camps around the UK and taking on Vampiro & Ultimo Dragon on his first tour of Italy.

We also discuss his time with The Devil’s Playboys; becoming the founder and promoter of World War Wrestling and the birth of the Damien character.

Brett also tells us how he got involved with IWE and became their inaugural National Champion, after a fantastic championship match against fellow British legend, Jonny Storm. This is a really fun chat with a highly respected pro of the British wrestling scene. (Duration 54 mins)
