Master Carver Sanford Williams has traveled the world showcasing his art, but loves nothing more than to stay at home to enjoy the peace and quiet while he carves for interested tourists. His past includes residential school, training at the now non-existent Gitanmaax School of Northwest Coast Indian Art, and the return to Yuquot to work as a career carver every single day. Sanford discusses the history of the medium and gives his opinion on the future of westcoast art wood carving.
