In this episode, WUN Advocate @Holly Beeston chats to Waterwise's CEO Nicci Russell and Training and Projects Manager Laura White discuss taking the plunge with the 4 Day Week trial. They disclose all - the highs, lows, challenges, their hints and tips for productivity when you're timebound and their learnings from the adoption of the 4 day week permanently.
Laura has worked in the water sector for the past 8+ years in various roles. She started her career in customer account management for a water retailer in the Non-Household market before moving to work for the International Water Association working with water professionals across the globe on events and projects. From September 2021 Laura has been at Waterwise, first as Projects and Research Manager and as of June 2024, Projects and Training Manager. In her current role, she oversees various projects as well as Waterwise's services including their training offering and Checkmark for Offices award.

Nicci Russell is Waterwise CEO - formerly a Defra Special Adviser and a Director at Ofwat. She is a CIWEM Honorary Fellow and chaired a group for the Defra Secretary of State. Nicci has won awards for diversity and inclusion and water efficiency. She is chair of young people’s charity Power2 and a school governor.
