The title character from the Russian Ice Stars production of Peter Pan On Ice flew over to the Link Centre, with Tinkerbell, on Monday 24 March to meet Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey Team. The world-renowned Russian Ice Stars bring to Swindon, this May, a new adaptation of this famous fantasy adventure by J.M. Barrie. Wendy, Michael and John are visited in the nursery by Peter Pan himself, who teaches them to fly with the help of Tinker Bell, and takes them on a magical journey to Never Land...but, ahead of visiting the Nursery and whisking the Darlings off to Never Land, Peter Pan (Anton Smirnov) and his fairy Tinkerbell (Katya Bokiy) had to fly into Swindon and meet the Wildcats. The Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey team are a community sports club which plays in the highly competitive English Premier Ice Hockey League. The team play from the Link Centre, West Swindon. Ryan Aldridge is the Wildcats EPL Head Coach as well as being Head Coach of the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey Academy. Ryan looks after the day to day running of the EPL team and player recruitment. The Wyvern Theatre's stage will be transformed into an ice rink from Wed 7 May to Sun 11 May for the Russian Ice Stars sensational show.
