“夜话中南海”，是一个以中共高层的最新人事动向为关注焦点，以其内部错综复杂的派系分野，势力分布及权力斗争的历史演进为主要内容，以人事异动及权力分配将如何影响未来政策走向为深化主题的时事评论节目。该节目暂定为每周播出两次，播出时间分别是北京时间星期三凌晨和星期五凌晨。节目主持人是已经在本台主持每周播出三次的“读书声”节目长达十六年之久的高新先生。高新先生截止目前已经分别在美国，台湾，香港和日本等地出版了他专事中共高层人事问题研究二十一年时间里陆续撰写的十七本著作。现在的“夜话中南海”节目与过去的“读书声”节目的不同之处在于，“夜话中南海”节目的每次播讲的内容都是高新先生新近为本台撰写的专稿，在节目播出的同时也会以文字形式在本台的网站上刊出。
