網路和科技的發展讓我們的生活越來越多元化，卻也讓「霸凌」悄悄從網路進入我們的生活當中，而不再侷限於真實生活當中。根據統計，有37%的12-17歲年輕人曾經遭受網路霸凌，其中26%被霸凌的人曾經有自殺的想法，這些數字也凸顯了孩童情緒健康的重要性。
然而，很多學校其實是沒有諮詢師的，因此讓孩童情緒問題的發現、了解、解決的過程更加的困難。
