In this episode of our podcast we will be talking about Dominica. Not the Dominican Republic. All stemming from Herbert, a Dominican, hosting a study abroad student in his country and home. First off, we will be talking about hosting the study abroad student. Herbert has had this experience and we will be delving into the details of what motivated him to host a student, what he observed to be the most shocking thing for the student about their experience in Dominica, what they enjoyed the most about the country, and some of the lessons they shared with our guest. Our guest also ensured that the student had some of the local experience that they hoped all visitors to Dominica would have. We will be exploring some of those experiences and how they impacted the student's overall experience and how they can impact yours as well! We also explore what makes Dominica a destination that you should consider visiting. From the island's natural beauty, culture, and unique experiences, we will be breaking down all the reasons why Dominica should be on your travel list. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this exciting and informative episode with Herbert and Asshur, from the Nature Isles. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/youngblacktravelers/support
