This week on the podcast we have Dr. Ilke Demir with us to talk about the crazy world of deepfakes. Dr. Demir received her Ph.D in Computer Science from Purdue University and she is currently working as a senior research scientist for Intel.
Last year, Ilke release a publication on a deepfake detection tool, FakeCatcher. We discuss this in the episode and learn more about how deepfake detection tools use biological signals to catch deepfakes.
Later in the episode, we discuss the future of the Metaverse and how deepfakes are used in alternate realities.
