This episode of Your Exceptional Life is recorded whilst in transit to Kiama for a corporate engagement I had with the National Australia Bank. It was meant to be released to you last week except that my phone ran out of storage mid-recording! Alas, in the spirit of better late than never, it is with you now!

On this deep and meaningful chat with myself (which I share with you), I talk about how the opportunity to compare ourselves to others is bigger and easier than ever before. I talk about the role the mass media, social media and our community engagement plays on all of this.

Other topics discussed include the effect that news consumption can have on our mindset and mental health, and just what impact the lure and social pressure of instant gratification may be having on our lives. I share how my business has changed in the last 12 months, going to a more “old school”, traditional approach in working more with people in real life, whilst reducing the focus on digital presence. A calculated risk, but a fulfilling one in so many ways.

I would love to know your thoughts and insights from this episode. You can email me direct marcus@marcuspearce.com.au or connect with me on social @marcusdpearce.

Until we meet again, continue living Your Exceptional Life!
