Dr. Ted Chia-Kwung Fan – known affectionately as “Dr. Worm” – is a professor and Director of TMU’s Department of Molecular Parasitology and Tropical Diseases. His dedication over the last two-and-a-half-decades has led to better treatment outcomes for parasitic diseases – and has helped strengthen relationships between Taiwan and the countries where such treatments are needed most.
