Welcome back to another episode of You're Missen the Point Podcast. I am once again joined by good mate Fozzie but not in the way we promised! Fozzie was feeling rather nostalgic recently catching up on the 1984 cult classic "The NeverEnding Story". He was so pumped about this film childhood gem sharing with me it's lack of political propaganda, negative agendas and sexualisation.

As you would all know I like look a little deeper into films. Especially those that are childhood favourites. So I put out the offer for Fozzie to jump on so we could do a breakdown of the film. We soon found ourselves digging deep into the esoteric symbolism, morality and religious ethos that encompass the story.

We went on to cover the connections between;

- Gnosticism.

- Thelema

- Nihilism

- Despair and depression.

- The fall of the West.

- Hedonism.

- The German author Michael Ende (The NeverEnding Story).

- The influences of Carl Jung, Friedrich Nietzsche and Aleister Crowley.

This conversation was an absolute blast. A massive thanks to Fozzie for bringing this cult classic to the table. You can follow Fozzie over on X with the handle @Fozzietheauzzie or use the link below.
