One was a propaganda film from 1936 designed to demonize cannabis and the other is the current reality for states with legalized cannabis. Today we are talking about the cultural shift that cannabis is in the midst of and what Betty Ford and Annies Veggie Lasagna have to do with it. Truly, they have nothing inherently in common, but if you give me long enough, I can string enough commonalities together to make it work. We take a look at positive situations like Colorado, one of the first states to legalize cannabis, and how they made so much money in cannabis taxes in their first year that they voted to give the extra money to schools and repairing roadways. But we also look at some of the pitfalls the industry has come up against. Mainly that since cannabis is not federally legal, credit card companies won't back them, forcing these shops to accept cash only and making them targets for robberies. But this is normal with anything new. We are part of the cumbersome process of un-demonizing nature and rewriting the story of what we accepts as medicines. Challenge accepted. ~Enjoy the Journey~ IG - @adamriehlhealing FB - facebook.com/adamriehlhealing FB - facebook.com/robin.grether.1 IG - @itzyourweirdaunt
