人們常說:「123、到台灣、台灣有個阿里山。」今天咱們節目就帶著大家乘坐阿里山森林小火車到山上,來喝茶(音效:汽笛聲)。阿里山除了是著名的風景區,同時也是著名的茶產區,所產的阿里山高山茶可說是台灣高山茶的代表。
有「世界第一等」稱號的阿里山高山茶,平均生長在1200公尺以上的中海拔低溫山坡地,這裡常年雲霧繚繞、水氣充沛、而且日照充足,再加上精良的製茶技術,讓阿里山茶不僅質地香純,而且入口回甘,可謂茶中上品。
阿里山茶區是以人工手摘,嚴格要求一心二葉,所製出半球型翠綠色的烏龍茶,可沖泡出蜜綠色茶湯,滋味甘醇,還散發出稀有的芬多精幽香;這種色香味甘醇的獨特風味堪稱一絕。頂石桌茶區的業者王正淵說阿里山茶的採製方式是用採人工反覆揉捏、精心烘焙,而且十分耐泡。
除了傳統的茶區,阿里山新興的精品農作是高山咖啡,主要種植的品種為「阿拉比卡」咖啡樹,它本身對溫度及溼度非常敏感,種植在海拔1000公尺以上的高地氣候,高度越高、所烘培出來的咖啡豆品質越好。秋、冬季節您若來到阿里山,有機會看到結實纍纍的滿山咖啡。
