11.04.2014 Mapping Spaces: Vorstellung des Publikation-Projektes mit anschließender Podiumsdiskussion der Herausgeber und Autoren Das ZKM | Museum für Neue Kunst präsentiert derzeit die Ausstellung „Mapping Spaces“, die eine neue Perspektive auf die Gattung der Landschaftsmalerei eröffnet. Im Herbst erscheint zur Ausstellung eine umfassende Publikation, die großzügig von den 22. Europäischen Kulturtagen gefördert wird und erstmals den fachübergreifenden Informationsaustausch zwischen Technik, Wissenschaft und Kunst für die Malerei der Frühen Neuzeit beleuchtet. Die Präsentation bietet im Rahmen der 22. Europäischen Kulturtage die exklusive Möglichkeit, schon vor Erscheinen des Buches einen Einblick in die Vielfalt der Beiträge aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen zu erhalten. Begleitend dazu findet eine Podiumsdiskussion mit der Kuratorin, den Herausgebern und ausgewählten Autoren der Publikation statt. In fall 2014, a comprehensive publication that is generously funded by the 22nd European Culture Days will be published. It illuminates for the first time the interdisciplinary exchange of technology, science and art for the painting of the early modern period. The presentation provides an exclusive opportunity to gain an insight into the diversity of contributions from different disciplines even before publication of the book. The presentation is followed by a panel discussion with the curator, the editors and selected authors of the publication.
