ARE the Bankies on the way back to the big time?

Clydebank are flying high in the West of Scotland League with 12 points from 12 and a cup win.

It’s been 18 years since we last saw them in the top four leagues.

But with the new pyramid system now in place could we see them back amongst the big boys once again.

Gordon Moffat is the man who’s steered them to the Premier Division summit - and he joins us this week.

He’s only been in charge at Holm Park for 14 months.

But after bringing in a whole new team during lockdown he’s seen them gel and become the early pacesetters.

We’ll talk to him about being handed the dream job – and just how big Bankies can be when the supporters return.
Gordon tells us about the team meeting where he told players they'd have to take a paycut to play this season and just how pleased he was with the response.
Plus we hear about the day Darren Fletcher scored five against his side, what it was like being given the runaround by James McCarthy and why the number seven means so much for him.
Away from Clydebank we get the post-match thoughts of Tayport boss Chris McPherson and hear why his four-goal hero didn't get the man-of-the-match award after their 7-0 win over Brechin Victoria.
And with Paul away we’re doing it with special guest co-host, Kilbirnie Ladeside assistant manager Des Roach.

It’s all here as we go Down The Divisions.
If you have any comments we'd love to hear from you. Likewise if you're at a club who would like your post-match audio featured on the show then do get in touch. You can email downthedivisions@gmail.com or contact us through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
