Speaking in December 2020 Ben and Dean caught up with Jemina Talja, who works across two charity organisations. Jemina is CEO of Adventure Ashram and Grants and Trust Coordinator for Hope Health Action. Jemina shared how she discovered her passion for international development and women's rights. This informed her studies but she has returned to this mission after time in corporate events after an internship pulling events together for the UN and NGO's.
2020 has been a challenging time for funding, especially for international charities. Hear about this and the amazing work Jemina supports in India, Haiti and East Africa through Adventure Ashram, who focus on supporting survivors of human trafficking, from rescues to providing a safe living space and even building skills for their futures.
