For our fifth episode, Season 2, Episode 1, of RUGBURN we connect with Jack Stokes all the way from down-under in Sydney, Australia. Jack was an alternate captain for Australia at the 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship (WJLC) in Mississauga, Ontario where he helped anchor the Aussie defence in their historic World Juniors debut.

Jack talks about how he fell in love with lacrosse despite growing up in Sydney, New South Wales where lacrosse is less accessible. He also explores his athletic roots in Aussie Rules Football, moving to Canada for a summer to play Junior A in Delta, British Columbia, gives us a lesson in Aussie slang, and what competing at the World Juniors means for future Australian box lacrosse teams.
