On this episode of TMWYK we’re looking at the emerging technology known as Deep Fakes AKA Synthetic Media. This technology could be used to put your face into your favorite movie or for something more nefarious like making it seem like a political figure said something when they really did not. We’ll tell you a bit about it’s origins and science behind how it they are created, share some examples you can look up, and Michael and I will draft 5 deepfakes that Michael and I would like to create if we had unlimited deepfake capabilities. I promise you this is really us and it always will be, welcome to Tell Me What You Know.
