The seed to become a filmmaker was planted during this unimaginable situation in which he and his family found themselves. It took 25 years for him to pull that footage out and assemble it into a story for an audience an entire generation later. The result is incredible- the film is so unique and if you enjoy high stakes situations, it really doesn't get more intense than this.
