Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. On the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr, we present one of the most famous stories on this glorious festival: Munshi Premchand's Idgaah.
Idgaah tells the story of a four-year-old orphan named Hamid who lives with his grandmother Amina. On the joyous occasion of Eid, Hamid is full of spirits and is excited to go to market to buy toys like his friends. But an unusual thought causes him to buy something else. Will his grandmother appreciate his unique gift?
