I have to say that I hate taking a selfie of myself. I don't really understand why lot of people need share the good moment of their life to really enjoying it. Can't we just appreciate present moment?
In the end, showing off when we are at the beach, in a restaurant or on holiday... How is it helping... It can makes people feel bad about themselves, maybe with a feeling of inferiority. And it also increase the ego the person which admire himself/herself on the picture. So what's the point?
On the other end, I do like shooting videos of me in selfie mode, not to share my private life, but to share what I learn day by day, what are my difficulties, what breakthrough did I get, or sometime what the conclusion of a deep research I had to do and that can be useful for someone else.
I do consider that we are very lucky to have the amazing devices in our pocket, so let's try to use them for good! To help others...
