In this episode, we focus on the Wachowskis' 2008 live-action adaptation of the classic cartoon SPEED RACER! As both Pete and Justin were new to the movie, we were fortunate to be joined by fellow podcaster, Mark Hofmeyer!
We discussed general thoughts and observations on the movie through our usual categories "You Already Know" and "Let's Check It Out" before Mark took us off track like Speed driving up the mountain! So "Like a Virgin," "Double Rainbow," "The Good Son-off," and "Remake This!" were tabled this week and you'll see why once you dive in! The episode still ends as usual with our final segment "Parting Shots."
Films discussed during "Whatcha Been Watching Lately": UNDINE, THE EMPTY MAN, and INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS.
Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and RATE us wherever you listen (5 stars are always encouraged!) and follow us on Twitter and Instagram (@TRRMoviePodcast) where you can interact with us and comment on how much you love this week's movie!
We also now have a website! Visit RamblingRamblers.com to access all of our episodes, check out what movies we'll be covering soon, look back at all of our Remake This! casts from the past, and even read our Parting Shots!
