🤺 Warrior Diet: How To Lose Weight Fast Without Exercise - 10kg in 1 Month | Ep#15

Episode #15 of the Harbir Singh Podcast ® is from the archive and is the first podcast style interview I recorded. This episode is about a dietary intervention known as intermittent fasting and specifically a protocol (type) of intermittent fasting known as the warrior diet. There's a number of different protocols (types) of intermittent fasting such as the 5:2 diet (eating less calories on 2 days a week and eating normally for the other 5 - made popular by the BBC documentary by Dr Michael Mosley) and 16:8, eating within an 8 hour window in the day and water fasting for the other 16 hours.

The Warrior Diet is an intermittent fasting protocol developed by health and fitness author Ori Hofmekler. The diet is essentially an extended period of fasting followed by a short period of feasting. Hofmekler created the Warrior Diet in 2001 after years of observing himself and his colleagues in the Israeli Special Forces.

Fasting is not a new concept. Perhaps the earliest records of fasting date back to ancient Greece, when philosophers touted the virtues of fasting. Hippocrates and other prominent healers were also advocates of fasting.

Today, fasting, better known as intermittent fasting, has become a popular practice in the wellness world due to positive results from dozens of indepe

weight loss studies.

Babban Singh shares his own personal experience and remarkable results. Babban starts with explaining why he lost weight without exercise (he had a back injury and physically couldn't exercise), he discusses his motivation (again due to his back but it's also useful if you're preparing for your wedding!). Lastly he discusses the ins and outs of how to do intermittent fasting properly, how long you have to do it for and how to deal with hunger when fasting.

Thanks for watching!
