On today's episode, I had the honor of chatting with Coach Rick Byrd. Coach Byrd coached at Belmont University from 1986 to 2019 when he retired. He ranks 12th all-time among NCAA Division 1 Head Coaches with 805 victories. 658 of those at Belmont. He led the Bruins to 8 NCAA Tournament appearances. 10 conference championships and 7 league tournament titles. He was just recently named the winner of the 2022 John R. Wooden Legends of Coaching Award. Follow along with Belmont Men's Basketball this season.
