Ayurveda:

The sister science to Yoga and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology).

Ayurveda means the science of life or science of living. We recognize that humans are a part of nature rather than separate from it. This is different from modern science and medicine. We look at each person as unique and consider that uniqueness at any point in time. Also considering that we are dynamic and evolving beings.

Gurvadi Gunas:

20 qualities, 10 pairs of opposites present in nature. Things like hot and cold, heavy and light, cloudy and clear and so on. Lean more about the gurvadi gunas on in our 2020 podcast series:

Panchamahabhutas:

The five elements of earth, water, fire, air and the ethers.

Doshas:

The doshas describe how the five elements function in us which then affects how we experience our body, mind, and spiritual connection. They are grouped into air and ethers (vata) water and fire (pitta) and eath and water (kapha).
